Up Mini Heatbed Mod

Post by RKov » Sun Feb 15, 2015 11:50 pm

I soldered on a 100c temp controller directly to the stock temp controller and have had no warping with big prints.

As a switcher from Mini to Plus I think you will find 100C a vast improvement. The only real issue here is why the printers don't come built this way to save you the hassle.

Yes, the 100C bed temp has been great. No warping issues anymore. And the bed heats up to temp surprisingly quick.

You can also use a 90 degree switch. The print bed of the Mini will only heat up to about 80 to 90 degrees
