Website redesign

Post by Tiertime-Joseph » Mon Sep 03, 2012 5:46 am

Hello Uppers,

This is Joseph Guo, and on behalf of Delta Micro, I would like to thank every one of you for the support that you have been giving to pp3dp through these past two years. Without you, it would not have been possible for pp3dp to reach the stage that we are at now.

We are constantly improving our product, our internal process, our website and ourselves. As some of you may have noticed, we are setting up as our new landing page, and it will replace the old website when it becomes stable. The new web site is very simple, and we will add more content to it periodically.

The two websites are working at the same time. Please be noted that all the transactions happening on the new website is as valid as the ones on the old web site.

Also, we will change this forum soon to make it more accessible to different needs for different people, and we will have more staff on the forum to moderate the conversations.

One thing you can be sure about is that we are carefully reading to all the posts on this forum. All the complains and suggestions are very important to us. We will do our utmost effort to improve our products and services. If you have anything to say, good or bad, please do not hesitate to contact our staff or me. I can be reached at or private messages on this forum.

Thank you for your attention, and back to printing.....

Nice website, but its very slow.
Maybe you can host the final site on a faster server?

Great news about the new forum structure and better moderation :)

I guess the site would be quicker if you were in China :?: a web cache might help in that case

Dear Joseph,

Thank you very much for your posting. It is really, really great to know that pp3dp staff are reading the posts here. Because the staff themselves don't post very often we sometimes think we're all alone. It makes a big difference for us to know that you are listening!

Best regards and thanks for a great product,

Just looked at the new Beta website. It is an extremely nice site! I am glad to see that Delta Micro is moving forward on further future development of the Up! printer. You have a lot of devoted users who truly enjoy your product. I look forward to more posts and information from yourself, Edward, Darkhouse, and the rest of the Delta Micro support gang!

Keep up the good work, and thanks for keeping us informed!

I also noticed the slowness, must be something to do with the hosting server.

Please fix the spam issues on the forum. All the spam really detracts from an otherwise wonderful source of information and collaboration.

Thanks and keep up the great work!
