Perf board alternatives?

Post by Stefan » Fri Feb 03, 2017 11:05 am

Hello everyone!

When printing I have success using the perf boards that came with the printer. I tried using UP's flex sheet to print raftless and it was rubbish.

I want to know why the perf boards are so expensive ($30 for one here in Australia). Can I buy them cheaper or is there an alternative I can use?

Cheers,
Stefan.

I have found raftless printing on the flex sheets pretty good. The sheets dont last long as I have found items stick too well to them and end up tearing them. I have since moved to the PrintBite (they will cut any size you want) which self releases as it cools and have found that fantastic.

Is there something wrong with the perfboards that came with your printer? I find they are very durable , I have been using my original perfboards that
get almost daily use and are over 5 years old and they are still in perfect shape.

Nah my perf boards and brilliant! I was just asking if there is a place where you can buy them cheaper or any other alternatives that are similar to them.
