weird layer problem in the y axis

Post by amarler » Wed Oct 15, 2014 3:39 pm

Hi Guys

I have a weird issue in the y axis of my up plus original. At about 7mm above the bed when printing the printer will start to print the next layer approx. 5mm further towards the front for no reason that I can work out.

I have re initialised the printer and reopened the software, and re-orientated the part and tried a different model but the problem still persists.

On some occasions when calling the bed to the front it does clunk as if its exceeding it's travel but this is hard to get it repeat it

anybody got any ideas what's causing it or how to solve it?

Thanks Alex

Maybe the belt block is cracked or loose.
