Clean the nozzle from time to time. I remove the nozzle, heat it up with a butane torch and dip it in alcohol a few times.
By the way, bed level en nozzle height check is something you should do regularly, especially when you get lift.

Does anyone have a good way to lube the sliders?

I prefer thick oil over grease
I use a syringe with a 1.5" long plastic tip. I work in medical devicefield so ido have access to small syringes n tips.
A few drops is all it needs

I think Bruce recommended lithium grease when I had a dry patch on my Mini linear rails. I prefer teflon spray on all my printers and CNCs. It doesn't adhere dust which then becomes an abrasive, it's easy to apply and it's very slippery :)
