I might be interested. Is the "sticky" imprint on both sides? And which materials do stick without raft?

The Sticky imprint is on oneside and on the shiny side of the board which is the sunny side UP so to speak.
The imprint is there to give a little bit more tac when printing on the UP mini. The headbed of the mini goes up to 50 degC only as standard. I moved from selling 4mm for the UP mini and will make that 3mm max. Unless you have made a modification to get higher temps.

For raftless printing I sell the Vlacky (vlakkie trans in Dutch) which is € 5.- a piece. It comes without imprint, apart from the type name in the bottom left corner :-) You can ofcourse print with raft on that board. Printing with excotic filaments are no problem even on a non heatbed. So far, apart from ABS and PLA, I have printed with NYLON, LAYWOOD and third party filament.

Between you and me, I moved back to using the org pp3dp filament only. The UP machines are not temp controllable and the org filament is available at my doorstep now. I don't want to make mods to the printer. Besides it's printing for 18 months without any mod just fine, only a broken axel clip but that was me own bad. Combined with the software upgrades from pp3dp the org filament gives me the best possible outcome every time. That filament seems to be more resistant to moisture as well.

Cheers with Ears
