The difference is range of temperature that you can achieve.
Really nice, huh?
New Octave Temperature Controllers - Very Nice
Re: New Octave Temperature Controllers - Very Nice
They seem to think so ... I abandoned that design a while ago because it's a pain to use while printing and it's fiddly.

Hi
I could have been interested in the $49.00 eight settings controller but Octave don't ship to Australia, and on Amazon the shipping costs appear to be very expensive.
It's a shame that a local supplier doesn't stock them.
Regards
Lawrence

You can buy my old one or I'll make you up a pretty thumbwheel one if you'd like.Lawrence wrote:I could have been interested in the $49.00 eight settings controller but Octave don't ship to Australia, and on Amazon the shipping costs appear to be very expensive.

Original Octave switch works well, and also have the Digital Controller by ArTaylor.co.uk.
It's nice but expensive!

Re: New Octave Temperature Controllers - Very Nice
Has anyone used one of ARTaylor's temp mod switches in an UP! Mini..? It says on the unit info page that it's not tested as he doesn't have access to a Mini.

I'm looking forward to trying some 3rd party colours in my new printer, but want to make sure it's going to work OK, I'll add a switch if I can.
