Printing a cylinder

Post by moreupper » Fri Nov 24, 2017 4:08 pm

I have a hollow cylinder outer diameter is 17 mm, and then a 10 mm thread inside.

When printing with studio latest version, it add support inside the cylinder but i set option NO SUPPORT! I cant remove it after print without the thread is damaged.

Why is it adding support when i say NO support?

Because UpStudio

No supports translates to less supports, perhaps, if it feels like it.

Tiertime don't think you can be trusted to make those decisions /s

So, I read somewhere that 'No Support' will still print 10 lines of support to help keep the print stable...not sure why they think that's neccessary but there ya go.

Also, go into the extra settings and make sure you've unticked 'Stable Support' as well. I found that leaving that ticked with no support would cause it to print support anyway.
