Help please. Extruder Fan

I want to replace extruder's fan. original is very noisy.
What kind electric it? AC or DC?

It's a DC fan. The extruder fan on mine is a 40x40x10 fan. Easily purchased off amazon, ebay, or your local computer parts store.

You are most likely not going to find a fan with the same connectors or wire length as the original fan, but you can just cut and solder the wires / connector to the new fan.

You should be able to purchase the original fan from most any UP! or Afinia suppliers...

+1 to eBay and Amazon. However, you have to check the reviews before you purchase to get a quality product.

It is going to be hard to get the exact fan having same connectors and length or wires as of the original. I would recommend to exchange the current one for another one.

Which extruder is this on? If PLA it's the new 40x40x20 fan. I have 2 bad ones here. I've sourced an equivalent from farnell in the UK https://uk.farnell.com/ebm-papst/412h/f ... dp/1781433 and it seems much better so far.
