Post by fei8820 » Fri Jul 17, 2015 8:48 am

Good days everyone... after a lot failure on Geeetech prusa i3 pro b and problem i facing on it... so i decide to move away the geeetech pursa i3 beside 1st .... and just grab one of the up3d plus 2 printer ... now i am very excited can't wait to have it.... i will mostly use it for printing mostly every days... i help my customer design RC drone/UAV parts and some own product ... or help other ppl to print their item... i hope this will not disappoint me. now i have a lot of leftover PLA... because my pervious printer nozzle keep blocked after few hours of printing that REALLY MAKE ME GOING CRAZY !!!! here is few question i would like to ask... in oder

1st : Does it still using Sli3r like normal printer does.. or it use it own sli3r ? i found that some design that sli3r are sli3r properly even i use netfabb to repair.. especially some more complex design... but i do try to download the up3d software and try... it can load my stl perfectly....

2nd : i am very concern about the nozzle ... because i would use aftermarket pla... is that ok ?

3nd : do i need to remove the nozzle for maintaince ?

and mostly i find a lot good review on youtube ... but here seems like a lot people got problem...
btw pardon my broken english but hope you guys understand what i trying to say :D

I would recommend you check this thread out.

The slicer is built into the UP software (it is all in one).

You will need a few mods to be successful using other PLA products.
