Thanks for sharing!

Have you tried Autodesk Fusion 360?

I did not try it, but it looks nice. It seems that Autodesk combined some general CAD with Maya-like subdivision surfaces and T-Splines. Could be useful for rapid prototyping. But I don´t like to pay every month or year again for using it.
I heard that Autodesk will come up with a new product "Alias Speedform", similar to Fusion 360, but with better Nurbs integration. But this will take another year.
I am working professionally with Autodesk Alias Automotive, really not affordable for private use. If you´re looking for an inexpensive Nurbs-Modeler check out Moi3D.
I also own form Z 7, a good all purpose Modeler. It has a clean output, so form Z free should have it also.

Yes it is a very nice application... use it for 90% of my modelling. I don't mind paying for it because it is the only commercial app I really need... Will look at the other applications you mention too, always nice to test software :)

Hello Peter,
if you just want to try formZ you can search for a formZ 7 demo or a Bonzai3D 3 (now formZ jr.) demo. They run on XP. If you can´t find a link, you can PM me.
Regards,
Peter
