Failed print

Post by EM-creations » Mon Dec 23, 2013 7:10 pm

So, I designed season greetings and was gonna print them twice in one go, to save time.

This way the print was quite big, so I figured: big hole and fast printing...

HUGE mistake; I went to see how my print was doing... on one side the raft came off and my first warping (tidal wave comes closer  ) is a fact. The nozzle was just spitting spaghetti!

So, I stopped the print. Afterwards I saw it was at layer 13 of 15.

My question: is this print staying in the memory now?

Up! Mini, btw.

So, it sounds like the raft of your print lifted from the perfboard. Make sure you have the platform level and set the nozzle closer to the perfboard, this helps A LOT with the lifting.

No, the print will not stay in the memory.

OK, thanks.

Up until now I had always printed on fine and the raft never let loose...
