Twister

Post by wackojacko » Wed Sep 18, 2013 9:54 pm

Here is a wacky new material that we have just finished developing. It is a real mission to produce as it requires drying at several stages and re-spooling. The tri-colour spools require 3 separate sessions of drying and re spooling and takes a huge amount of time to produce.

No it's a high impact transparent abs filament, did some more prints with it today and will post more photos tomorrow.

Wow, if you have transparent ABS I'd love to be able get it in single colors rather than the multi-colored (not that the multi-colored isn't cool, too). Transparent color is the only reason I envy the PLA crowd.

Nice Bruce! Having done it with nylon its a hell of a lot of work. The results speak for themselves though!

Julia did you ever get the transparent ABS samples I sent you ? Blue, yellow, red, clear?

My apologies, Jamie. They've been on the shelf and I'd forgotten where they came from, and every time I noticed them sitting there I assumed they were PLA. Now I see that they're clearly marked as being ABS and being from you. I will test ASAP!

Thanks,
Julia
