Re: Up Plus nozzle

Hi
I have been led to believe that the Up!, Infinia and Makerbot nozzles all use the same thread. I haven't tested them, but if it is true you will be able to buy a nozzle on eBay for $10 including postage - and experiment with 2mm or 3mm nozzles.

Re: Another day, another 3D printer but..

Hi Lan Re: Btw, thanks for sharing your experience using the Creator. I am quite tempted to buy it but worry about the after sales support. There was a broken part on the machine when it was delivered. I contacted the local reseller who quickly arranged a replacement part to be mailed from the suppl...

Re: Another day, another 3D printer but..

Hi Re: Previously, I asked my local distributor on the possibility of Delta Micro introducing Up PlusPlus. They said there is no indication at the moment. From business point of view it may be unlikely because its parent company, Beijing Tier, has been selling Inspire 3D printer that can print 150 x ...

Hi
once you've found a good temperature setting that releases enough vapor but doesn't boil off all the acetone too quickly
What temperature do you suggest?

Hi
Can I suggest using a clear plastic so you can see the printer while it is working without the need to lift the cover to take a peek.

Re: Leapfrog 3d with PVA

Hi I quite like the look of the mBot cube: http://www.mbot3d.com/products/mbot-cube-pvc-color-3d-printer 200 X 200 X 200 mm build size. Single or dual extruders. Uses ReplicatorG 0.1mm layers. Has anyone seen one working? BUT, I would prefer to see a similar or even larger sized UP! Pus Plus. Regard...

If a bigger Up! was available with a 8"x10"x8" print bed it would immediately be my second printer.

Gekko is available again

Hi all I have been an advocate for the Gekko sheets in the past, and still successfully printing on the first of 3 sheets I received in my order about 3 months ago, A am still very positive about the "stickability" qualities of the Gekko. After the tirade he received last time when he failed to stat...

Re: official specs of the UP mini

Hi scubamatt41 I have just added http://www.miicraft.com/ to my favourites. I don't see that I have a need for it at the moment, but, if in the future I am later on looking for a small footprint hi-resolution resin printer, this one looks like an option. Possibly the only drawback is the cost of res...

Re: official specs of the UP mini

Hi all Re: the Cube and Cubex filament. My reservations about the Cube and Cubex filament cost per gram increased with this reply I got from Cubify about the weight of material in their cartridges: Each Cube cartridge contains enough filament to produce 13 - 15 average size objects. An average objec...

Re: official specs of the UP mini

Hi my concern with the Cube and the Cubex is its filament. Both are supplied in product specific cartridges at $52 each for the Cube and a whopping $111 each for the Cubex. Nowhere have I been able to find out the weight of filament in each, but have the impression that the cost per gram is high. Th...
