Re: Calculator For Temp Mods

nice work!! that will come in handy... I was thinking along the same lines as you....and came up with the same problem, with a dial, how do we know what temp we are at... so i used a 12 position rotary switch, and added 5deg jumps to each position...so now its easy to tell what temp I am at by looki...

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] Ready mode.

I would be happy with a button (not hidden in menu) that does the preheat of the print bed, and a software front end readout of bed temp... I use the pre-heat bed function every time I use the printer...way more than I use move, rotate ect...seems silly to have hot buttons we never use, and ones we ...

Re: Gekko print bed add on

Ok, more testing later... on my system, thin speed sheet, and gekko, too close too much head for the board, they buckle and die... perf board, and sheet, then gekko, good, but not quite enough heat, not quite enough 'tact' for stuff to stick...will next test without the speed sheet, and re-check tac...

Re: ABS printing temperatures for UP!

I have a 12 position temp switch, for 5 deg steps...after playing around with different temps I have found that jaime's (3D printergear) premium filament to print way nicer than even the stock UP ABS, at the right temp, and was surprised to find with a 5 deg change, I was able to dial in the support...

Re: Gekko print bed add on

It's not too critical - as long as it's within, say 5 minutes or so. The acetone not only removes any oils from the perfboard surface, but more importantly, it softens any plastic already in the holes so that the extruder has an easier time pushing, and the new print will bond better to the old pla...

Re: Gekko print bed add on

given the little time I have, I have just gone back to the perf board and added little 'ears' around the edges of the print, for a bigger raft, which does seem to fix my warping issues...given the perf board does not warp... Preheat the bed thoroughly, give the perfboard an acetone wipe, and set yo...

Re: Gekko print bed add on
