Re: Replacement Up Mini Filament Clip

The no backwards compatibility is a pain. But I SCAD just still confuses me.

Drawing and programming are two different things in my head. I can export it as some alternative formats which you can import. Or really its not very hard to redraw from scratch.

Re: Post Production techniques

I tried this today. http://solidoodletips.wordpress.com/2012/11/10/presto-part-finisher/ I bought a $12 rice cooker and a bottle of acetone. Works pretty well although bit more tweaking needed to get the time and levels of acetone right. http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k510/s_martin87/th_D2F030B...

Re: UP MINI

So AFAIK in australia there is the official 3Dprintingsystems. There is also BilbyCNC and 3dprintergear. Although I am pretty sure Bilby & 3D printing gear resell via 3D printing systems. And in Australia if the product is not fit for use the company is legally obliged to repair, refund or replace t...

Re: UP MINI

After following this guide lastnight I was able to get my entire printer bed to within 0.4mm. It was like 2-3mm off before hand. Took about 30min to do and solved all my issues.

Has anyone drawn up a better clip for the filament at the back yet?

Up Mini Unboxing & Issues

Well I just unboxed my brand new Up Mini. And well things haven't exactly gone to plan. I have had a Reprap for almost 2 yrs now with various degrees of success I decided to grab an UP! as I have really had enough of having to constantly work on my machine just to keep it going. It was fun for a whi...
