Re: What may cause this?

Is it a bigger diameter or it is just offset to one side?

Re: Up Studio

Just had a good look around the software and it is a beautiful interface, particularly the "Model adjustment wheel" controls... superb! I have made some notes below. They are in no particular order, some are essential, some are just notes and some are features I would like as a professional user. I ...

Re: UP Software Beta Test Version 0.9

I've just Googled the error and it looks like the problem is because my Windows is 32 bit rather than 64 bit.

Can this be sorted as I am keen to help test and offer feedback.

Re: UP Software Beta Test Version 0.9

Mine won't install either, see the attached error message. I am running it on Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro via Parallels.

Any chance of a screenshot anyone?

Re: Up Branded Filament c-13-01, Is this ABS or ABS+?

I came unto a few rolls of white up branded "fila" filament, part # c-13-01. Problem is I can't tell whether I should my Up box to recognize them as ABS or ABS+ (or something else?) Anyone know what the part #'s are for the various up filaments? Anything starting C-13 is the new ABS+. Anything star...

Re: WORKING: SOFTWARE TEMP MOD - ADJUSTABLE LAYER HEIGHTS !

With this software mod do you think it is possible to make the program print without any supports by adding a simple button to change the angle of the overhang to 0 so it doesn't generate any support for the print? This would help improve prints without the need for any supports. You can do this in...

Flexible materials

I have just tried PolyFlex material on my UP BOX as it is supposed to work much better on most printers than the usual flexible materials. It started printing well but then started extruding intermittently and jamming. I think the problem might be the teflon filament tube leaning over as the print h...

Re: UP! mini plays starwars music

- pre heat (some minutes) BEFORE print (just like the not so useful option to heat after print in the software) - possibility to set temperature (I was able to print many kind of different material like PET, Ninja-Flex, ... after using my temp mod) - preview before print to inspect the model and th...

Re: UP! mini plays starwars music

I might be wrong but I don't think Tiertime wants you to be able to use other slicers. Other slicers mean its easier to use other filaments. I know we can use other filaments already but many people don't do the hacks and just stick to UP filament. I hope they do help but I'll be stunned if they mak...

Re: Poor Print Quality

I am really struggling with the x and y print quality. I have tried printing in different resolutions (.1, .2, and .3) all seems to have layer mismatch. I have tried with normal and fine speeds. The print quality on the .1 looked like a dog chew toy in the shape of a print. I am not sure what to ch...
