Re: UP! V1.18 Issues

How long have you used your printer? Did you ever print with old software, like v1.17 or v1.16, and don't have the same problem in v1.18?

Please try to upgrade the ROM with the software and see if this problem happens again.

Re: Calibration

Hi Roller,

Your printer vertical is perfect. X1 and X2 are both 125, that's means your calibration model is 100% vertical. When doing the vertical calibration, it is to make sure X1 and X2 are same.

Re: UP! V1.18 Issues

Hi James, I think this is not a software issue. Maybe your printer can't receive command to lower the platform. Can you try to lift and lower the platform in the Maintenance dialogue? It is mainly to see if the lower command is working or not. If the platform can't lower itself, please contact your ...

Re: Up! Software new releases for both Windows and Mac

On the Mac version, the platform calibrate does not appear to be available. Selecting the "platform calibrate" menu option does nothing. This is a problem for me, since it somehow seems to have selected incorrect platform calibration settings, so I cannot print with a raft with the new Mac software...

Re: Newbie..Up Mini Issues

ok..thanks all I just platformed calibrated with a close space. Also I had warmed up the platform. I just did that and I started a part that I have printed before with success (nautilus gear connector bar). It is warping again and also the rafts are sticking to it so that it has become one with the...

Re: i'm sick of this printer!!!!!

while the filament drive gear isn't the best, somthing wasn't adding up and in theory it should still work fairly effectively,so while cleaning out the hotend assembly i've discovered somthing quite interesting to do with the design of the hotend which is rather limiting by design, especially when ...

Re: Up! Plus does not connect???

This is NOT the answer I had hoped for! I purchased my Up Plus from an Alex Karny of TwelvePro.com through EBay. I don't find him on the authorized resellers list on the PP3DP website. The unit came in a new, sealed box so I'm assuming that he was an authorized reseller at the time. I have sent ema...

Re: PP3dp Official review on the UP! mini printer

We learned from some users, some mini Printers' linear shaft clip are broken during the international shipping. We started make the upgraded clips after we get the feedback. Now we start to use the upgraded clips to the mini printers to make sure it is safe even with international shipping. The new ...

Re: Warping, Part not sticking to raft

If I print somewhat bigger parts with a flat bottom I always get warping at the edges. The raft is sticking perfectly to the perfboard but the part itself just lifts off the raft. The wind barrier is closed. I'm using software version 1.18 and was able to mechanically align the build platform so th...

Re: Fill

Hi Matt, Thank you for sending me the STL. I have printed your model with my mini printer. Upload the STL into the UP! software, I rotated the model 30 degrees in the z direction. It seems that the model I printed after rotation, the wall becomes a little better than unrotate. This is the step for R...

Re: PP3dp Official review on the UP! mini printer

Hi, we will soon release the UP! software to v1.18 beta, which will support printing full range on the UP! mini platform, so 120 x 120 x 120mm even with the raft printing. In v1.18 beta, printing of the raft will be a little different with before, but will be better. Also the wall will be more solid...

Re: Static platform temperature (51.4C) displayed in UI

Hi,

The UP! mini don't have thermistor, so the software is showing static platform temperature. That's not a bug, and not means problem with your printer.

Thank you.

Re: UP MINI

Just be aware Numonic that while you use software leveling your maximum object print size is about 105x105mm because the leveling requires a raft to compensate. This may not be an issue for you as long as your leveling is in range (less than 1mm out at the moment). It also seems to mean you use mor...

Re: UP MINI

Wondering if it's safe to say the problems have been fixed if I do purchase one both mechanical issues as well as software? I'm talking about putting the printed shim or even the folded paper shim? I'm looking forward to getting this machine but I don't really have the time to be tinkering with the...
