Re: raft print problem

Hi Mike,

Your nozzle is blocked, please clean your nozzle, dropping it into the acetone for one hour can solve the problem.

Kind regards,
Edward

Re: Hardware for new spool holder

Hi,

For the new spool holder, I recommend M3 x 8 screw if you use 3x8x4 bearing, and M3x 10 screw if you use two 3x7x3 bearings.

Hi all, We recommend the perfboard, it really good, that's why we include one perfboard into the box of each new printer. And we recommend to use the small clip, it will make the operation easier. Btw, the platform preheating is still very necessary even use the perfboard. Printer71, we are sorry fo...

Re: I can't level my platform - z slipping? :-(

Hi, Please adjust the platform until it is level with the nozzle. There are 3 screw and 3 springs under the platform heater.Loosen a screw and the related corner of platform will rise. Tighten, or loosen the screws until you have the same distance between the nozzle and the platform at all four corn...

Hi Madox,

Sorry for the late reply. The electric current on the extruder head motor was increased on the new printer, ROM can't change to adjust the current down.

Re: Larger Prints warping at edges of print platform

Hi, You said @The printer head appears to be sending out swirls of material in the initial portion of base-building, it seems that you didn't calibrate your nozzle height very well. The best gap between the nozzle and platform is 0.1mm - 0.2mm, (Thanks for William's correction ;) ) then the extruded...

Re: Makerbot

The makerbot's new extrude head is so alike the UP! extrude head? :o

They have purchased the UP! 3d printer for one year, they have a small extrude head finally, but it is nearly the same like the UP! one. They go for 1.75mm filament, 0.4mm nozzle, small extrude head

Re: help with warping

Hi sokwanho,

I saw some spots on your prints, are you saying the warping there? Please try to print two or more objects at one time if the object is not large, then the problem can be largely reduced or solved.

Edward
