Re: Interesting technique to stop corners lifting

Sick!
I'm pretty sure if you had some small stock disks, and moved them into your model and hit 'merge' that would combine them in the print... am I correct? :D

Re: New UP Mini user in Sydney

Hey and welcome! If you're in Sydney and havn't already seen it, I would definitely check out the 3D printing meetup group! http://www.meetup.com/Sydney-3D-Printers-Meetup/members/ I was there at the last one with my Mini giving a demo. The raft sticking is 100% an aftermarket filament issue, as it ...

Re: Printer goes mad after completion - possible netfabb .st

I've worked out a pretty good fix without needing to let the "ghost" print continue, if you fire up the UPinspector (only works if the main up software is closed) and do the SD card check, it'll send loads of blank commands and seems to override any old prints. Re: Printer goes mad after completion - possible netfabb .st

Thanks for the suggestions guys! You might be right roller, I had it occur today on a print straight from thingiverse - I had cancelled the previous print halfway through as it was just for a demo and taking too long. Does anyone know if I can format the SD card or does it have something crucial on ...

This .obj file is then converted to a .stl using meshlabs. I've been printing these files fine, but lately they've w...

Re: UP! Mini

Probably worth printing one of these in case your rod supports break, I've noticed they're made from a very hard but brittle plastic. My spare seems to be doing a decent job!

Re: UP! Mini

Hey dudes with UP Minis! Just wanted to report a bug I've noticed with V1.17b so might want to avoid running that till its sorted - basically when printing a part with external dimensions 'smaller' than the metal perf board guides, the machine will lower the nozzle into these to do the initial 'nose...
