Re: Raft removal proving very difficult in UPStudio vs 2.15 (Mac OS X)

Was this sorted out? I was trying UPstudio but I find it 100% useless because of this issue. All of the prints I've done today have gone to the trash because I can't separate raft/support from actual piece. I've been trying smaller and smaller pieces, but seriously: a 1x1x1cm box and I can't separat...

Re: New to 3D printing, need tips for platform calibration

Thanks Going on with my experiments, the biggest problem I have now is that when the ABS cools down, it contracts, and it pulls up the ends of the perf board. For anything bigger than 50x50, the problem is obvious. I'm experimenting with Kapton tape. I can print raftless, and for small pieces (30x30...

And some doubts too. I've followed the instructions from the manual and from a couple of youtube videos, ...

Re: Turn the lights on, will ya?!

Thanks for this, I will try it tomorrow. Can't do it now because of a different firmware issue: if I turn it on, it will beep and wake up the missus.
While they're at it: the LEDs should turn on by themselves whenever you start doing something related to platform calibration.

Re: Stop the beeping!!!!

These beeps serve no purpose. It should only beep when there's an error that cannot be communicated via the computer. Everything else should be a message somewhere on the UP software. Please get rid of the beeps. I don't want to have to open my printer. If I wanted that kind of involvement I would h...

Re: Print bed not center on up mini - Losing out an inch of

I have the same problem.
This sticky talks about it: http://www.pp3dp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=23324
I will try the "extend the bit that contacts with the detector" solution. Luckily, I have 3D printer to help me with that :)
