Using the heatbed as temperature controllable device

I needed a device to warm up water to ~55° to create hide glue for repair works. It worked using the UP heatbed :-) I used the windows API to readout the temperature values from the management window. The software automatically enables and disables the button for the heatbed, so the temperature stay...

Re: Use UP! as temperature adjustable Coffee Cup Heater

I`ve made a quick addon for the old UP! Software. It currently works with the german UP! 2.18 Version only. But I can release the sourcecode, and it`s pretty easy to adopt to other versions as well. It just uses the API to readout the Temperature on the management panel. Then does automatic start an...

UP!+ Printer Shutdown when being touched

Often when I put the Clamps on the Printer or touch the hardware.
The Printer reacts with a sudden shutdown, LED turns red, the platform falling to ground.
Is there a solution ? Maybe Power supply Phase problem ? or do I need additional Grounding ?

Anyone came across this issue :?: THX

Re: Wish List

As usual improved Resolution ... Fabbster today released Images of 0.05 mm Prints on their old Fabbster Model. http://www.fabbster.de/fabcon2.php If we would add a ball bearing to the Material holder, and add functions for not only feeding in material but also by reversing the material a bit, or use...

[FEATURE REQUEST] Smooth Planes

I just did my first Prints on the Up Plus, and as the Print got loose on one side, I got a very smooth surface. Can`t that be accomplished as feature as well eg, putting one additional 0,15 layer onto all final planes, and then smooth it with the hot extruder ? This would give an extra smooth planar...
