Lower part shrinking

Hi, I am printing Polymaker PC-MAX under the recommended nozzle temperature of 255oC and HBP of 80oC. I noticed there is some shrinkage at the lower part. I am printing with raft. The shrinkage is very prominent when I am printing a 1mm thick part.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?

[Feature Request] Separation distance between raft and first layer

Hi developer, As per title, I need to increase the separation distance between the raft and first layer printed. Currently I am printing PC-Max from Polymaker who recommend a separation distance of 0.3mm for easy removal of raft. It is very hard to separate the raft produced by the current UPStudio ...

Re: UPStudio proxy support

Is there any workaround in place? If Tiertime products are also sold for business purpose, there should be some solutions in place right?

Re: UP Studio hang

TT customer support suggested that we setup a mobile hotspot to login and activate the printer. Once the printer is activated, it will stay so even when we log out, at least that is what TT support team implied.

Re: Print Number Limitation

Hi,

Does product stay activated once it is activated once? or I need to constantly login my account?
The reason is that my organization firewall is blocking the UPStudio, but I may be able to connect my pc to my cellular data once to activate the printer.

Please help.

Re: Calibration for different materials

Thanks for the clarification. I cannot find the Example folder in my installation.

I can find calibration model in TierTime official website, but not in UP3D site.

UP Studio hang

I am new to the UP Studio. When I tried to detect the nozzle height after auto level, the software hangs with the loading icon displayed foverer. Curiously there is a reading on the nozzle height, but the loading icon just won't disappear and that prevented me from clicking anything else. I also can...

Re: Calibration for different materials

Does that mean that dimensional accuracy is not affected by shrinkage factor etc?

Also how can I print the calibration model? I cannot find the file location.

Calibration for different materials

Hi,

I notice that there is a calibration test for dimensional accuracy in UP Studio. Does it need to be done for every different material. I have ABS and PC.

Thanks.

Re: What do Easy Peeling option do?

I think the separation distance between raft and part depends on the material used. For example, Polymaker PC-Max recommends a separation distance of at least 0.3mm, which may be too large for ABS and PLA.

Maybe some experts can comment on it.

Re: G-Code transcoder part 3 (printing objects)

Hi,

What settings should be provided so this transcoder can be used for UP Plus 2 such as nozzle height, max speed or acceleration etc? Can this be used for cura?

Thanks.

Re: Separation distance between the raft and the part

I guess that they want to create the "It just works" concept of Apple, but without the real impact. It does not look good for the company when customers are literally begging for some basic features of a successful 3D printing.

Even the Apple's "It just works" concept is starting to fail now.
