Re: Nozzle Temp Dropping

Hi, Just to share a solution I found to solve a lot of E error (temperature error) due to the FFC cable or other in between connector/board. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3059725 Just replace the full lot with a better cable, solved a lot of problem on my side (running for more than 2 weeks now...

Re: [BUG REPORT] Nozzle too hot

Well I think I fixed it by making a cable that replaces some parts that tend to wear quickly, highly recomended as my Up Box has now been printing again for a couple of hours: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3059725 I searched for the parts on AliExpress and also ordered an IDC crimping tool with ...

Tiertime doesn't care! Gcode isn't on their to do list anymore it appears. They promised this a couple of times but they don't deliver

Re: [BUG REPORT] Nozzle too hot

I have this on two printers (Up Box), changed all kinds of parts like hotend and cables - still the temp spiking occurs. Changed software versions and computers, is it a hardware error or something else?

Re: New software: UP Studio BETA Version 2.6.4.627

Once again, please can I get a response so I know this issue will be adressed?

The latest version of Up Studio with seam hiding still generates rows of holes.

So please take a look at how the start points handle the extrusion.

Re: UP Studio 2.6.20.627

I just saw they are working with a third party CPU solution, TinyFab for the Cetus. The Cetus is a relatively cheap but good model printer that does support gcode. We as users were promised gcode a few times but then the momentum and promises stopped, I have an Up Box and was told my ''firmware vers...

Re: UP Studio 2.6.20.627

There's not much reply from Tiertime lately. I have a whole thread about the latest Up Studio versions and bugs but no answer whatsoever. I will skip this version and keep to my version that prints relatively well. For instance, I see the random start points is mentioned - in the previous beta that ...

Re: New software: UP Studio BETA Version 2.6.4.627

@Tiertime-Joseph I would like to know if Up Studio will get the seam hiding function fixed. I just downloaded 2.6.19.627 from within Up Studio (it's not on the website now) - the holes I described earlier are not there but there is one line/scar when you print a round object. Still not desirable. Ma...

Re: New software: UP Studio BETA Version 2.6.4.627

@Tiertime-Joseph I have tried the latest beta too, I really like the function of seam hiding/random start points but I get worse results. The test prints have multiple seams and scars now. On cubes I get holes and pits on the corners, on cylinders I get 2 lines of holes/pits that are probably the st...

Re: not buying a cetus, for now

Prices of (good) 3D printers are so low people complain about shipping. Is that a good or a bad thing?

So if the price was 20% higher with free shipping it would be all good :ugeek:

Re: New software: UP Studio BETA Version 2.6.4.627

I have been able to reinstall this version and it worked. However, I had bad print results at the time with the new seam hiding function. I got holes/pits all over my printed models so I went back to the previous (non beta) Up Studio for important projects. Now I see there's another beta (version 2....

Can anybody confirm this version isn't working? I can't get it to print anything so will go back to the previous version. New software: UP Studio BETA Version 2.6.4.627

There's a new Up Studio available since yesterday. I was pretty excited as this version will hide the seam - YAY! :D So I installed it but the software won't print.. I get all kinds of errors, ''verify error'', ''app isn't verified'' and ''ERROR: slicing error'' When you first choose to previ...

Re: 'Platform Too Hot' error

Well I had to find out for myself. The platform can be removed by carefully pushing back the pins on the sides (4 of them). When the platform comes loose you can remove the cable by wiggling the binder connector under the printbed. The Up Mini 2 I was fixing luckily didn't have a broken flat cable, ...

Re: [BUG REPORT] Setting UPBOX to use TT TPU and then back to ABS+ has Bed Temp stuck at 40 deg.

Up 2.18 worked around the bug for me although the blue progress LED bar seems to work different. But I have a few LED lights that are dying/dead so could also be the last 3 or 4 don't work anymore too by coincidence. At least the software says the platform heats to around 100 degrees again but haven...

Re: [BUG REPORT] Setting UPBOX to use TT TPU and then back to ABS+ has Bed Temp stuck at 40 deg.

I have the same unpleasant surprise of a platform that won't heat to 100 degrees anymore, in the middle of a very important print job I have to finish :x While typing this I tried the Up software 2.18 (you know, the older software that had very few bugs) and that appears to heat the table again. I h...

Re: Trying, and failing, to use the new Tiertime Store!!! - NOW ALL GOOD - Thanks TT

I can report I have met Joseph again at Formnext and received an Up Box CPU to replace my broken one. :D

They have a nice stand in Frankfurt with the new printers and products.
