I am trying to print winddragon_a.stl from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:151676 I done three prints, but i've destroyed/damaged the model :oops: I've broken off the railing supports damaged the rear while removing the suppoting I've printed with the base Only: the head prints poorly the rear prin...

I think I fixed up my rafter issue my Nozzle Heigh was too close to the perfboard :oops:
now I can remove the rafters with easy :)

Would a acetone bath solve my issue of removing the rafting from the perfboards? I think that would work, with ABS, but never tried it that way... For HIPS this could be solved with limonene. But are you maybe printing too hot? Do you also have problems to remove the workpiece from the raft? no Oth...

- When print is done, allow everything to cool thoroughly before trying to pry the model off, it will be much easier that way. Afterwards, clean the printing mesh plate with acetone (you will want to stock lots of this stuff) :). Michel from Belgium Stormychel can you tell me more about your aceton...

I can get the model of the perfboards, but the raft is hell to get off :oops:
