Unfortunately the shipping cost to my country will be 5 times the price of the paste.
So it must be normal with a new heating unit.
Maybe using the heater a few times the metal parts will expand and stick together.

Re: Heat block repair

Hi, I have a related assembling question: I ordered this nozzle heater unit from eBay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/0-4mm-Thermo-Nozzle-Druckkopf-Hot-End-Print-Leiter-fur-UP-3D-Drucker-Extruder-/161492559304?hash=item2599b4e5c8 After assembling the new heat block - there are 2 heating bars/blocks. I think...

Re: nozzle heating not stable

It is good to occasionally reseat this to ensure the contacts remain clean. Maybe this was my problem: Just want to let you know - it works again correctly. I unpluged all cables on the extruder unit, and carefully reconnect them. I'm not a technican but I think it solved the problem. The nozzle te...

Re: nozzle heating not stable

It should be covered under the 12 month warranty, contact the place of purchase of your printer. My dealer blames my temp mod is the fault. Unfortunately, I told him about the software temp mod, which worked very well. Removing - did not fix. :| Will check the cable connections of the nozzle heater.

nozzle heating not stable

Hi, recently I have problems with nozzle heating on my 8-month UP Plus. I always print with ABS. Normally after the nozzle reaches the final temperature, the heating unit tries to maintain 100%. The display toggles from 99% to 101%. But now it jumps very rapidly from 101% to 115% or 85% and the prin...

I think this is a UP 3D printer forum, not for Stratasys.
If Stratasys can not help you, consider to buy a professional UP printer ;)

Re: WORKING: SOFTWARE TEMP MOD - ADJUSTABLE LAYER HEIGHTS !

Hi, I tested the Temp Mod with my UP Plus2 and it works perfectly on my Mac with Bootcamp. I am positive surprised about the improvement in print quality and raft removing. I changed only the 'Heater Temp' 245 - 240 - 235 (ABS, Layer 1,2,3) The rest I leave untouched. Does anyone have some recommend...

Hallo Mr.X

Gratulation! :)
Ich beneide dich um deine Programmierkenntnisse :(

Frage: Funktioniert das auch beim UP Plus2 ? Ist das die gleiche Software? Und wie sieht es aus beim Mac?

Gruss chang

Login problems

Hi,
I use this forum at work and at home. Each time I must LogIn again - even if select 'keep me logged in'.
I don't have this problem with other forums.

Some print setting advise for UP Plus2

I would like to print the model /thing:39416

How would you place it in order to easy remove support. If I place the back of the case to the print plate - the support removal is very difficult.
And what setting would you use?

Thanks in advance

Re: universal 550dt tractor 1/12 FINISHED

Glen, amazing prints.

Can you tell how did you paint, or did you spray paint your model?
And very important: What kind/brand of paint did you use?

If painting does not weaken fine detail, then white ABS is all I need ;)

Re: hairy prints

Thanks ggeezer for your insight information. Maybe reason 1. is the cause of my problem. My location is Bangkok. My 3-D printer is in a hot office. During working time the aircon brings the temperature down to 25 C. Off hours the room temperature may go up to 40 C +. I use different color ABS and ke...
