does it do an automatic brim?

Hey all,

I'm just starting using the printer and upstudio. i did a few small prints. i got this brim for a model that is not all the way around and it is not made to be snapped off. any idea if this is some automatic feature? this didn't happen for some small cubes (one imported and one made within upstudio).
