Post by jspark » Wed Aug 29, 2012 8:15 am

Hi~

Now, I'm tring to print the Gyroid Zonohedron lamp shade created by dizingof!
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20392

I think It's a so beautiful structure!

I used 30deg, stable support, clear filament.

The running time is over 1day!!!

The clear filament not that much clear than that of I expected.

I hope It's gonna be safe! :)

Looks great. Please show the zono when done. Perhaps put a light in the bottom.

To get the filament as clear as possible print at 0.2mm fine. Also use the v7 or plus wind barrier.

Hi!
Finally I got it!
Thanks wacojacko! But its a 0.2mm, and I'm using now the v7 wind barrier.
The filament is normal ABS which is made in korea.
The surpport removing work was over 1 hour!
And there was 2 times of pause printing for support repairing.
It's a really beautifule structure. Thanks dizingof!!
