Registration Procedure Changed

Dear Uppers and new users,

We have been hit hard recently by SPAMMERS. So many SPAMMER accounts created everyday, and hundreds of SPAMs are posted at increasing rate. Our staffs have been swamped by the work cleaning up the mess, but we can not do it promptly due to large quantity of SPAMs. Accidents, like good posts got deleted, and good posters got pruned, happened in several incidents. We can not fight SPAM like this anymore.

We have decided to change our Registration Procedure. Now, new user will not be approved automatically. She has to send an email to admin, and wait for the approval by Admin.

Here is the detail:
After new user finishes regular registeration steps, her request will be sent to admin for approval. NEW USER needs to send AN EMAIL to pp3dp_tiertime @126.com with SUBJECT "new account request", and put your account name, and a brief description of your intention of joining this forum.The message does not need to be long, just enough to convince admin that you are not a SPAMMER. Admin will approve the account once she receives the email and deems the new user will not be harmful to the forum.

There will be some delays after new user's registration, and we are sorry for the inconvenience that it may cause.
