upstudio software

Hi All
I have just took delivery of a Cetus3d Mk3 extended installed the upstudio software get the standered screen got printer recognised. header says printer ready. now when i add file/model from stock or my own i get nothing on screen no checked bed or frame,print button comes available i clike print and it prints the item blind i cant alter the model on screen i just have a black blank background with all buttons to the left and the floating command circle top right,
i have tried changing background colour no change, ive uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail. also cant delete printer from system software.

help needed please
