Hi all,
New to the forum, so I apologise for my first post being a gripe.
I did a lot of research in to which 3D printer I should buy, and to me a Cetus seemed like an obvious choice due to the ease of use and quality of the prints.
My experience to date has been terrible however. Tiertime take weeks to get back to me, and when they do are very unhelpful.
In a nutshell, I'm getting dimples all over my prints and some very noticeable layer misalignment.
I'm using brand new PLA bought directly from Tiertime, the one optimised for Cetus. I've ensured that all 3 axes are aligned, and gone through the 9 point calibration process with meticulous attention to detail. I was very careful to assemble it, ensuring that everything was flush and snug to the flame etc, but even when I assemble it with less care the issue is exactly the same. The manner in which I assemble it has little to no impact on the issue.
Tiertime have so far been very disappointing in their responses, when they get round to responding at all, and so I wondered if anyone had any ideas please?
I'd prefer to keep the printer if I can get it to work properly, so really any suggestions would be very welcome.

Could you post some pictures? Its hard to troubleshoot without them.

Hi JothamB,
Thank you for replying.
Unfortunately, most of the fixes recommended for other 3d printers are software based. Being as the Cetus' software is very minimal, I can't implement a lot of the solutions on the links you kindly provided.
I'll try the discourd server and see if someone can lend a hand.
Thank you for the guidance.

Re: Printing issues
Try this: Change the nozzle with the 0.6 one and change the nozzle setting accordingly in the menu. If the problem persists probably the extruder motor is to blame. (Check the wiring). I had issues with it and they send me a new extruder assembly and the problem was solved.
Rather the first thing I would think of, is a glogged nozzle, did you try that? Nozzle to close to the built plate? If possible try other filament to see if it makes any differences. When I use white filament the prints are not as smooth as other colors. Hope you get it sorted.
