Seems to lose calibration info

having a strange problem on our UP300 - calibrate the bed manually, do a print and all works fine, put the same print on again and then it just extruded into the air. Have had to reinitialise the printer and recalibrate and then it works fine again. seem to have to recalibrate every other print or so compared to our upbox which rarely needs recalibration.
