Subscribing to a "forum".

Post by cj7hawk » Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:33 am

Hi Tiertime,

Just noticed that some questions can go a while without community answers. Is there any way we can subscribe to a forum entirely, so that if anyone posts a new topic in that forum, we get an email notification, so we can assist, as a community, to help others?

Thanks
David

Hi Brook,

Did anything come of this? I notice a lot of new questions simply don't get answered, because the forum regulars don't hang around checking for new messages all the time -

Has alway been possible to subscribe to topics btw. But unlike most forums its not enabled by default when replying to a thread, and there seems to be no email notification either.

There are also Quick links for things like active and unanswered topics btw. (Up left corner)

Hi Bjorn,

It's more a need to be able to subscribe to a forum, not just a topic... So that when new posts are made, they can be responded to quickly, instead of a week later when someone checks the forum. - :)\

So when a new post is made, everyone in the community get a notification.

That would be a very helpful feature so we could all help improve the product support.

That would have to a opt-in thing. Could kinda see the benefit, but then again, the active/unanswered links could produce the same result with a browswer plugin for monitoring pages.

That being said, its really not the community's responsibility to provide support for Tiertime, they ought get their act together. The other day I received a response to a ticket from august last year. Case closed; no update. I'm truly looking forward to not being a customer.
