printing with light on and an open door

hi,
just purchased a new up300 (after several years printing with the upbox)

would like to ask:
1. how do i turn the lights on during printing? (lets say i want to timelapse a print)
2. is there a way to print with an open door? i had a friend that used to put magnets instead of the door on the upbox but i don't know where is the sensor in the up300.
