Printing spares?

Post by bjorn » Thu Jan 03, 2019 5:23 pm

I've downloaded the .up3 files and opened them in Up Studio, but I'm a little at a loss as to which settings to use.

Shelter Block.up3 for instance is loaded vertically, but the size is greater than the build volume, so it cannot be printed in that orientation?

Some parts look like they might need to be flipped to get strength in other directions than the default, which layer resolution and which parts need support?

Is there any information on these things that I just haven been able to locate?

Hi
The model can be scaled or fliped, and you can also edit the supports by supports editor, you can check the menu icon in the right part of the software interface to find more options

Great idea, I'll scale all the models to 10% and fit them all in one print job!

If part size, layer orientation and layer height isn't important then that would be usefull information, scaling not so much I'm sorry to say.

Finally it doesn't matter; support block for x(?) smooth rods broke and local vendor has approved a return.

Shame your service doesn't match what could have been (was?) a good product/concept. Best of luck y'all.
