Hey Guys!
I just recently picked up the UP mini 2. I've done a couple prints so far and they have come out perfectly. That being said, I've started to see some scorch marks on my "solid" print plate as well as left over filament in the holes of the "grated' print plate. My question is: what is the best way to clean out the filament that is stuck in those tiny holes or does it even matter?

For the "perfboard", then leave the plastic in the holes, it gives the new raft something to melt into. There's plenty of space in the raft to cope with empty or full holes so no need to give it a thought.
Scorch marks sound more worrying though. Nozzle too low?

I've never cleaned the bed, just pass the spatula on it.

Well thats good news, I was worried about build up that would ruin the output.OwenSparks wrote:For the "perfboard", then leave the plastic in the holes, it gives the new raft something to melt into. Its possible, it was my first "out of the box" run with the machine that left the plate with some visible burn marks. I'm not sure it the filament was too hot or the nozzle was too low. I recalibrated everything so it no longer happens.
