3rd Party Filament?

So I understand that Up Filament will be the best option for the Up Mini 2 but at the moment, they do not have a true grey abs or pla which is the main color I'd like to print in.

Does anyone know of any 3rd Party filaments that work well with the Up mini 2 or any other Up Printers? doesnt matter if its abs or pla, just as long as its easy enough to remove supports.

Thanks!

Outside of the UP filament, I have found the Polymaker (polyplus and polymax) filaments the best to work with. They are the only ones I havent had to play around with to get to work. They are a bit expensive, but are a good quality filament that looks great. There are others I have got to work (eSun as an example) but the quality is not as good and Ive had to play around with he temp and speed to get them working.

Now that we can adjust the temperature using Up Studio, you're pretty much free to use any 3rd party ABS or what not filament, then you'll find that you've advanced to another stage of 3D printing.. trying to find the idea temperature+nozzle speed+nozzle height combo to make it print well! ;)

I have been using Zortrax Z-ABS filament with very good results. I just use the standard ABS settings and it works great. You can get it from easily from octave.com (https://www.octave.com/3D-Printer-Filam ... index.html). Octave also sells and supports the UP Mini 2 in the US. They also sell and highly recommend Polymaker for PLA but I have yet to try it.

Just follow the proper rule that if your filament is SMOKING when it exits the nozzle.. turn the temperature down. ;)
