Hi,
has anyone tried the sleep option in the preferences form in Up Studio ? I'm using most recent OSX version of Up Studio, and this option is supposed to switch off the Up Mini 2 after finishing a print job. But, every time I've used this sleep option (tipically for jobs taking most of the night) I have found that the printer is not switched off once it has finished the job, but just de-initialized... this is, printer is still powered on and in the same state when you switch it on and previous to initialize it...
Is this the way it should be or is it a bug in OSX version ?
Sleep option
Re: Sleep option
The sleep function does put the machine into the de-initialised mode. The main purpose is to make sure all the fans have been powered down.

Re: Sleep option
Windows10 here.
Sleep option works great: when the print finish, it switches off the printer, Up Box and Up Plus.

Re: Sleep option
Yes, that's what I thought... I read somewhere in the documentation that the effect of sleep option was to switch off the printer after job finishing... Another thing to add to the list of things that behave different between Windows and Mac versions....
Re: Sleep option
Windows 10 on UP mini 2: this option makes printer reboot after printing is finished, but not switch off.
May be, that's a bug?

Re: Sleep option
Windows 10, Up mini 2 - sleep mode has same effect as pressing and holding the button on the side of the printer. Everything but extruder fan is turned off and the bed is moved towards the rear and dropped down.
Edit: dang, just realized original post was quite old.

Re: Sleep option
Sleep is standby. Different with power off. Mainboard is still on, wifi is still connected. Fan is still on since it's dangerous when extruder is hot and fan suddenly off. Power off is manual via power switch
