Some cool prints on the UP

Post by wackojacko » Mon Apr 04, 2011 7:52 pm

Here are a bunch of 3D prints from the UP http://3dprintingsystems.com.au/3d-model-gallery/

The bracelet from thingiverse is the most amazing print on the UP, with no supports!

The ball printed great, but I took the bottom off to remove the internal supports.

If you have any great images from your printer, feel free to let me know and I'll get them added.

Oh neat :-) I also see my boxringthing (prints smaller as well by the way).
If you care, I decided to upload all my designs to Thingiverse (NC, but for demo it'll be fine).

I also printed the bracelet. Great without support!

Hi!

Could you please post the exact setup settings for the bracelet?
Also, is it the smaller one or the large one?

Here are the 1.0.8 settings I used to print the large STL of Nervous System's Subdivision bracelet without support material:

The settings should work for any of their bracelets on Thingiverse. The usual YMMV applies. ;)

FYI, in addition to uploading the STLs for some of the Cell Cycle bracelets, Nervous System also makes available the source code of the tools used to create them! :o

Thank you!
I assume speed was set to "fine"...

I will try to print that this weekend.
