ERROR: Data Transfer Failure.(6): Failed to send cmd to printer.

Post by dquintonschein » Wed Oct 18, 2017 3:48 pm

I'm trying to print for the first time and I'm receiving the following error on my UpBox: ERROR: Data Transfer Failure.(6): Failed to send cmd to printer.

Printing STL from UPStudio on Windows 8 via USB.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Check the SD card is seated properly on the motherboard. You will need to pull the back cover off to get to it.

Was this problem resolved? Was it the SD card?

Short answer: Check for sd card, buy new or reseat old. Delete UP Studio software. Go to app store download & install that version.

Medium answer: Mac OSX 10.1.16, UP mini 2 es. (We first downloaded UP Studio and installed, and ldk, and update files from the website- no luck iwith that).

Long answer: Wow, lots of effort with customer service, we finally got to the app store download- no need for update or ldk file. Our printer came without an sd card, but your mileage may vary.
