Layer shift issues

Post by schurg » Tue Oct 17, 2017 12:26 am

So. I've had my upbox for alittle under 7 months. Been loving it! Well, until recently when this layer shift started to occur. I've personally checked out the normal run of issues; loose magnets, loose x axis cogs, loose/slipping belts and I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. I took it to my local up dealer and they too are at a loss. The biggest head-scratcher is that it doesn't effect the whole build area nor does it effect the whole z axis. The 3-6oclock area (looking down on it) appears to have the worst issue. Any chance this is a software/firmware issue? Can I reflash the printer? I'll try to post a pic that helps explain.

Exact same issue with my UP Box - it only happens in some areas of the print bed. Usually if I print in the middle of the bed one part at a time to avoid it.

Did you figure out why this is?
