45 angle print

Post by jmaszybr » Thu Dec 29, 2016 5:45 pm

I want to print a flat sample at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal. When cutting into slices I get an error from a software program. Why?

some how the orientation generated a empty or defective layer data, resulting in data transfer error 2. Try a different orientation or scale up or down

Or had a chamfer to the bottom corner. The UP software will give you this error if the very first layer is only 1 line thick.

Thank you for the fast answer. I can not change the orientation of the samples, because I want to study the effects of orientation on the mechanical properties. I have prepared two new variants. What settings should I set to avoid overhangs (I would like to use the support)? The printer is trying to perform overhangs without supports.
