Hi all
I posted the following reply on the UK/Ireland forum
Thank you for the information about the new filament site. I only use the genuine Up! filament in my Up! but will soon be purchasing a larger footprint 3D printer to use the lower temperature ABS and PLA, and their filament is very well priced - I will be ordering from them in the future.
I particularly like the look of their Flexible / Rubber-like filament: http://3dprinterfilaments.com/rubber_%20like_filaments
I am also keen to try the nylon filament offered by Jamie at: http://www.3dprintergear.com.au/Taulman ... lon175.htm
I was not aware that 3D systems in NZ had opened 3dprinterfilaments.com.
The prices are good. For example 1kg ABS delivered to Australia for $38.68, or for heavy users 10 X1kg rolls delivered to OZ for $344.82 - or $34.49 per roll (and these are discounted US dollar prices).
Also, Jamie offers a good range of ABS for only a slightly higher AUD$40.00 delivered free - if the total order is over $100. Another good option for filament.
Regards
Lawrence

I got a couple of rolls of the value filament (for free) when I bought my printer late last year.
My question is what is your experience with the value ABS from 3D printing systems?
I have 'black jack' and 'electric lime'
Does this value filament work correctly at ordinary (without mods) abs temps on the up plus?

Thank you for your experience

It works but badly. a temp mod drastically improves print quickly and success. I know because I just sorted one for a friend who bought the Up2 on the recent special. If you want a multitemp pushwheel mod PM me because I made up a couple of extras for people who keep asking. Just press a button for 10C increments in a 90C range.

Hi All, I'm new to all this, but I thought I would pass on some test results with ebay ABS stock.

I got some blue ABS from this seller:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181625603173
Its only my second spool, I ran out of the included UP filament today in my Up Mini.
I used the software mod to set my nozzle temps to 245,240,240 and had very good results.
With all the expensive spools out there, I thought others might benefit from hearing my results.

Cheers
Gib
