A challenge for the bravest of the brave! Our software developers must have feedback or they could turn into coding zombies and none of us want that.
Note: At this time, only Windows versions of the beta are available. Sorry, MAC users. We love you, but the developers are still working on your build.
This is the version with supports preview. There is a new option in the Wheel Menu (or docked menu bar, depending on your preferences). The feature is called Supports Editor.
What you can expect – considerably more than just a preview of supports. The Clip View icon will appear on your screen, allowing you to view the model and supports at various model view depths. The editor settings will allow you to view exactly how the software's support adjustments will change the print job. You can disable/enable each separate support structure. leaving only certain supports active.
What you cannot expect – you will see angles in the Supports Editor for each support structure. This does not mean you can currently change each separate support's threshold angle. A change to the threshold angle is a change to the angle for all support structures. Separate angles are on our internal to-do list, but it may not make it into this release.
Finally you can see what the printer will do before you start a print job.
Just yesterday I had this model failed because the wings for some reason were missing support, now I can see it in Up Studio beforehand.

> Hello Tiertime,
> is it possible to Change Software, so that it shows the supportstructure?
> Would be much easier to choose the correct Settings, if the
> supportstructure would be visible in the Software.
