I am just about to put an order from pp3dp. I have a up plus, and I have been having troubles with the classic plate.
so i will get a new plate, and perfboards.
I have not decided if the filament feeder is worth buying. (or if it will work with the up plus)
Also, previously up came up with an upgrade kit, but it is also nowhere to be found.
talk about anything

I've been using mine without a motorized feeder, on some challenging models, without any problems. I started with the stock spool hanger, then changed to a printed ball-bearing one for low friction, then changed to a steel pipe when I bought some spools from Octave that don't fit the ball bearing. As long as friction is reasonably low and the feed path reasonably straight I don't think the motorized feeder is necessary.
