Hello, i just received my up, and i just unpacked it, and i did not touch anything, no time to test for now.
I have a simple question to all of you. Is the angle on the picture ( not quite 90°) normal?
thanks,
Vincent.

Re: Just received my up and i have a question
Hello Vincent,
There is a problem, the platform axis should be perpendicular to the Z Axis. The damage was due to rough handling in transit.
Please twist the axis to normal position(perpendicular to the Z Axis). If you can't, please return it and we will fix.
We have upgrade the package of UP! printer in Oct, we should improve the quality of package again.

Oh noes! I hope it's just a bent screw or something other easily fixed

Re: Just received my up and i have a question
Just received mine, and I have the same problem!
Did it work properly after you bent it back by hand? I cant imagine that bending by hand makes it precisely 90degrees to z-axis. Hope I dont have to send it back.
and thanks to my son Olaf for borrowing his lego blocks for the pictures

There are two solutions:
1. Use the calibrate function. the print will be vertical although the X and Z aixes aren't vertical.
2. Adjust the screw in back of X axis. see the attached pics.

I twisted the axis to normal position. Thank you darkhouse for the quick answer.
I did the calibration, so far so good, exept that there is a light pattern every 10 layers. I don't know if it's related to the bending.

Hi Vincent,
It maybe due to the liner bearing problem. We will contact you when we solve it, and replace it for you if it is indeed the liner bearing problem.

What screw would I need to adjust for the skewness in the X direction? (i.e. the arm on the Y axis arm on which you mount your the platform?
