My printer is having a bit of a problem. When printing a model, I can watch the temperature of the nozzle increase normally as it warms up to print. However, after only a couple of seconds of printing, the temperature continues to rise and the printer stops and shows the error "Nozzle Too Hot".
I tried unplugging from power and disconnecting the printer. I even disassembled most of the print head assembly to see if it needed to be cleaned. (I didn't see anything that appeared to be really dirty / clogged)
The one other post I saw in the forum about this error talked about the temp sensor connections. I unplugged it and re-plugged.
But at this point, I'm not sure what to try / check next. Any suggestions?
"Nozzle Too Hot" error
Re: "Nozzle Too Hot" error
Some people have gotten this error due to a break in the wire ribbon cable.
Re: "Nozzle Too Hot" error
Gently wiggle the wires going from the hot end to the pcb on the top of the extruder motor while watching the temp in software. It sounds like you might have a cracked wire.
