Hello, as these wonderful printers age, they will break down and you will need to replace parts (obviously). Unfortunately, they are obsolete and parts are getting harder and harder to find. So, I am starting this thread to develop a good list of replacement parts so we can keep these machines cranking out parts fast and good.
I am asking you, the community, to please add to this thread any links, item numbers, pictures, how-to's, and other helpful tips so everyone can benefit. Use good keywords so people can find this thread in both the search function on this site and on other search engines.
Up! Plus and Afinia H480 - spare parts, replacement parts
Re: Up! Plus and Afinia H480 - spare parts, replacement parts
Up! Plus and Afinia H480 replacement heater connectors.
The connectors on both the extruder heater and platform heater are identical. Here are links for buying them (no I am not a shill for this company):
Part numbers are in the URLs listed
Male Terminal: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?key ... 55-2249-ND
Male Terminal, 90 degree corner, for V.2 platform heater board: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?key ... 55-2243-ND
Female Connector: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?key ... 55-2267-ND
Crimping Terminal: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?key ... -2261-1-ND
Another Crimping Terminal: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?key ... -1135-1-ND
You will also need to buy a terminal crimping tool to crimp the wires properly onto the terminals so you can plug them into the connectors. Must be capable of crimping 22 gauge wire. If someone wants to post a how-to of easily doing crimping, feel free to do so, since I found that it's not exactly easy for noobs.

Here's a Chinese parts supplier of Up! Plus and Afinia replacement parts - https://www.aliexpress.com/store/718699
I've made a few orders with him, so he's legit. Just make sure you are not in a rush cuz it takes a long time to come from China. This one time it was supposed to take 2 weeks and it took 5 weeks.
Also, make sure your parts are wired correctly before using them in case he crossed the wires.

I found switches that trick the extruder heater into thinking it's 20 degrees cooler

Re: Up! Plus and Afinia H480 - spare parts, replacement parts
Someone else told me that these are the temp sensors that are used, but I'm not 100% sure:

Can someone else verify?

I am pretty sure this is more what you need, it is 3mm x 20mm it is about 5 mm longer than the original but should still work for you.
