USB port blown of up! ?

Post by Kevink » Fri Jan 08, 2016 11:52 am

I probably blow my USB port of my up! plus by connecting a portable DVD drive on my PC with a 12V power supply instead of 5V.

The Up! start up, I can initialize it from the 3D printer, but not from the computer.
The Up! software doesn't recolonize the 3D printer.

Does any one know if there is a fuse or a chip that might be blown on the up! and that is easy to replace ?

Thanks Kevin.

Sounds like it could be a bad CPU board, do you have another UP! or have a friend that would let you try the CPU board from his printer to see if that is the issue?
