HI there

I have a couple of UP! plus 2 printers
and a student is asking about printing with NinjaFlex with a temp range of 210-240

What would this require? would I have to modify the hardware
or is there another less complicated way

Many Thanks
Simon

Hey gnomadix,

The default print temperature is 260°C for ABS, so it is way too hot. To print that kind of filament you would have to drop the temperature, but there is a temp mod offered in this forum which allows you to do that. By using the temp mod it should be possible to print Ninja Flex, but I don't have experience in printing that kind of filament.

greets,
nexster

Gnomadix,

I tried Ninjaflex and due to its "floppiness" designed a Pre extruder that seems to work well.

On Google search Rubber Plastic advice site:www.pp3dp.com

This should get you to the thread on this forum where I describe the pre-extruder with photos.

cheers
